Classical Type Setting Book
This project is inspired by the book If Beale Street Could Talk by James Baldwin. An excerpt of 15 pages is type set in the classical book block style and there are designed splash pages in between that serve as visual breaks from the typeset pages. The splash pages are created using image making techniques and experimental type illustrations. These pages include quotes from the writer: Kiese Laymon in his book 'Heavy: An American Memoir'.
